School Life
Lourdes is about more than just academics; your child will have plenty of opportunities for fun and self expression. If your child likes sports, boys and girls have the chance to play in organized sports starting in grade 3. If drama is more to his or her liking, Lourdes offers speech, performing arts, and choir, and puts on a Christmas show and spring musical each year. Fifth graders learn to mind their manners and to ballroom dance in cotillion class. Seventh and eighth graders learn about the beautiful state of Colorado participating in outdoor education. On United Nations day, students are treated to a smorgasbord of delicious food from around the world. Other special activities include the Pedalpalooza, Donuts with your Dude or Muffins with your Mom. Little Flowers is a special club for younger girls. Third grade buddies learn responsibility helping their kindergarten friends adjust to school. Older students learn leadership on student council.
