Test Scores
On average Lourdes Students test at twice the level of similar grade Denver Public School students. Every February our students take the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS). The three fundamental purposes for testing are to describe each student's developmental level within a test area, to identify a student's areas of relative strength and weakness in subject areas, and to monitor year to year growth in basic skills. We obtain our results based on national norms. The student's national percentile rank (NPR) compares that same score with those of others in his or her grade in the nation. Lourdes' students typically score 2 grades above the National norm. When analyzing the ITBS data our main focus is that our students achieve a years growth on each grade level.
